GRATITUDE

What’s gratitude got to do with keeping fit?

From all I have read about being really grateful, its similar to exercise in that it just makes you feel better about yourself and if you are interested here is a great article to read about the subject

As I said earlier like exercise it just makes you feel better and below is just a few things I am grateful for in my  life today……

Living in Goostrey
Having food in the fridge and the supermarkets
Loving family and friends
A great job getting people fit and healthy
Learning new stuff everyday
My stripey lawn (sad but true)
My clean full suspension mountain bike (sad but also true)
Having piped music in my bathroom, so I can boogie whilst taking shower!

I could go on, but you get the idea.

Some people even keep a Gratitude Journal, noting five things each day they are grateful for

And I do like these words that I stole from a book……

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing and mistake into important events. It can turn existence into a real life.  Gratitude makes sense of the past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Gratitude makes things right!
Gratitude turns negative energy into positive energy. We can start with who we are and what we have today, apply gratitude, then let it work its magic.
Say thank you until you mean it. If you say it long enough, you will believe it!

So what are you grateful for today?
